Return & Exchange Policy – Gifted Freaker Boutique
At Gifted Freaker Boutique, we want you to love your purchase. Please read our return and exchange policy carefully before buying.
1. Change of Mind Returns
- We accept change of mind returns within 5 days of purchase.
- Items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In original packaging with all tags attached
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
- A 25% restocking fee may apply to change-of-mind returns.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping or delivery costs.
2. Exchanges
- Exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and in full packaging.
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
- If the replacement item is of higher value, the price difference must be paid.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
- If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 3 days of purchase or delivery.
We may request:
- Proof of purchase
- Photos or videos of the issue
If confirmed faulty, we will offer:
- Replacement
- Store credit
- Refund (if required under Australian Consumer Law)
4. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty:
- Earrings and jewellery for pierced ears
- Women’s and Men’s Clothing
- Personal use items
- Sale, clearance, and promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
5. Condition of Returns
- Items must not be used, worn, washed, or damaged.
- Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.
6. Refund Method
- Approved returns will be issued as:
- Store credit, or
- Refund to original payment method (only where required under Australian Consumer Law)
7. Australian Consumer Law
This policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Electric Kids Vehicle Return Policy & Warranty – Gifted Freaker Boutique
At Gifted Freaker, we are committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. Please read the following policy carefully when purchasing electric ride-on vehicles.
1. Change of Mind
- Due to the nature of electric ride-on vehicles, change of mind returns are not accepted once the item has been opened, assembled, or used.
- Returns may be accepted within 3 days of purchase only if the item is unopened, unused and in its original packaging.
- A 25% restocking fee will apply to all approved change-of-mind returns.
- Customers are responsible for all return transport costs.
2. Faulty or Damaged Products
- If your item is faulty, damaged, or not functioning correctly, please contact us within 3 days of purchase or delivery so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
- A 3-month warranty applies to the vehicle’s battery only.
- Customers are encouraged to inspect all body panels and cosmetic components prior to purchase. Cosmetic damage reported after collection may not be covered unless the customer can demonstrate that the damage existed at the time of purchase.
To process a claim, we may require:
- Proof of purchase
- Return of the item to our store (including all original accessories and components)
If a fault is confirmed, we will provide one of the following:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
- Store credit (if repair or replacement is not available)
3. Assembly & Usage
- Vehicles must be assembled according to the provided instructions.
- This policy does not cover issues resulting from:
- Incorrect assembly
- Misuse or improper handling
- Water damage
- Overloading (exceeding weight limits)
- Normal wear and tear
4. Battery & Electrical Components
- Batteries are considered consumable items and are covered under a limited 3-month warranty.
- Warranty will be void if damage is caused by:
- Improper charging
- Overcharging
- Neglect or misuse
5. No Returns on Used Items
- Items that have been used, driven, or show signs of wear are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit unless deemed faulty.
6. Refund Method
- Approved returns will be issued as store credit or a refund (if applicable).
7. Discounted Unassembled Products
To receive a discounted price, selected electric vehicles may be supplied unassembled in their original packaging.
By purchasing a discounted unassembled product, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- Assembly is the responsibility of the customer.
- Customers must inspect the contents upon collection or delivery.
- Any claims for missing parts must be reported within 12 hours of collection or delivery and before assembly begins.
- Gifted Freaker is not responsible for parts that are lost, misplaced, damaged, or broken after collection or during customer assembly.
- Damage, breakage, or incorrect installation resulting from customer assembly is not covered under warranty.
- The discounted price reflects that assembly and pre-delivery inspection have not been provided.
Battery Warranty
- Batteries are covered for 3 months from the purchase date against manufacturing defects only.
- The battery warranty does not cover damage caused by improper charging, overcharging, misuse, neglect, water exposure, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.
- Gifted Freaker is not responsible for damage, breakage, missing parts, or incorrect installation resulting from customer assembly of discounted unassembled products.
Australian Consumer Law
This policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
